May overveiw

Okay so I know this is way over due. But I also had it pointed out to me that this is like a journal so I can go back and record past events if I want. So for those of you who don't want to read this very long post you can go ahead and ignore this one.

Mothers Day 2009

Not really a big fanfare day in our house. Brian had a meeting that morning so he wasn't there until just before church. I did take some pictures of Mackenzie that morning. She usually comes in and snuggles with me in the morning but that morning she saw the empty laundry basket and wanted to sleep in it. So we put her pillow in the bottom for cushioning and then put a blanket over her for warmth.

She forgets that she can't lean on the edge or else it falls over.

Later that day we went to my In-Laws for dinner. I took my camera but didn't take any pictures. (This is a very common trend in my life.) Later before Mackenzie went to bed I did have Brian take a picture of me and the reason(s) I am allowed to call myself a mother.

The next day we found out that this baby:

Is a boy. That info is for all of you who have not yet asked, seen or heard.

My Birthday

So I know my parents came up and took me out to dinner and we celebrated at the In-laws but again I didn't take any pictures. Lame I know. However, Michelle(the best sister in the world) took me to the Taylor Swift concert. Brian is not a fan of country music so if I am going to go to any concerts it will always be with someone else. I did take some pictures at the concert. We were on the very top row. I was out of breath when we reached to top but we had a lot of fun singing at the top of our lungs and head boppin' like crazy.(Being four months pregnant I didn't think I could do much else in the way of jammin' out to the songs.) Here we are before the show started.

Some pics of Taylor.

Us after the concert was over.

We had a good time and went out for ice cream after. Thanks Michelle for the memories.

Last but not least.

Mackenzie saw the camera on the desk the next day and wanted me to take pictures of her. She then proceeded to make it difficult by opening and closing the door.

Taking pictures of herself while sitting on mommies lap.

Well that is it for May.
