Really That’s All?

Okay so looking back at photos for june, I found Just these three pictures.

They are pictures of Mackenzie all dressed up for her very first birthday party. A girl in our ward was turning four. She had a princess themed party. I must say at first I felt bad that Mackenzie was going in her easter dress. I thought all the others would be in actual princess dress-up dresses. To my surprise and relief when we got there only a couple were in princess costumes so Mackenzie wasn't totally out of place. Anyway she had a lot of fun was announced as princess Mackenzie of Ireland, and loved decorating her own cupcake.

Anyway, as for the rest of June I don't remember what we did. Oh brian just told me our ward campout was in june. Don't have any pictures but we went. Grant wanted to make some dutch oven food, but being his wife was out of town he didn't want eat it by himself. We obliged by donating ingredients to the cause and had some really good chicken and rice and extremely yummy peach cobbler. Another family also donated food and helped in the eating, but in the end we were still offering portions to those around us so that there wouldn't be any left over. Mackenzie had fun playing on the swing set. And even though it rained that night our tent lived up to its' waterproof label and we all slept warm and dry. Mackenzie loved sleeping in her sleeping bag so much that we had to set it on the floor in her room so she could "camp" everynight for the next two weeks. All in all june was a very pleasant month.

I love that as a "princess" she is wearing her flip-flops! Now that is my kind of princess!

Your blog is so fun. Picasa (it's free)is how I do the collage. Most people don't like it but I do it because it takes up less room. oh congrats on the boy I had not heard. Very fun!

The talk of dutch oven is really making me hungry. Some sort of chicken and rice dutch oven and peach cobbler is what our bishop used to make on the last night of Girls' Camp. Love it, but haven't had in since.
