5 years and counting

In August we had our Five year Wedding Anniversary. We did several different things. First we went out to eat at Sizzler. I know not too exciting but we had a coupon for two steak dinners for $10.99. We also took Mackenzie withus. We decided that since she would be left home the next night we could take her with us.

The next evening Brian and I went up to the Deer Valley Music Festival. We Listened to Rhapsody in Blue. Actually there were more than just that selection of music but Ican't find the program so I can't actually list all that we listened to. Anyway it started sprinkling when we arrived but cleared up a few minutes after the performance started. It then started raining during the intermission. It was still lightly coming down when they started playing selections from Swan Lake. It stopped raining about ten minutes into the performance. The rest of the night was clear and Beautiful. They ended with a wonderful piece I can't recall the name of. It was a lot of fun and really relaxing listening to beautiful music out under the night sky.

We got back to the hotel kind of late so we didn't get out of bed in time for breakfast. The only place left serving breakfast was a place called the eating establishment. It's on Main Street in Park City.

As we were looking for it we came upon a car show. After Brunch we went and wondered through the cars. Brian said he saw someone wearing a shirt that said "Park City's Fifth Annual Mustang Car Show." Yes there were a lot of Beautiful cars. Not all of them were mustangs but the majority were. I must say they really knew how to make them back in the day.

This one was my favorite. It says sparkles on the licence plate. If you enlarge the picture you will be able to see that the paint job is sparkly. I loved it. One day I will have a Shelby Cobra, Gt 500 painted plum with sparkles.

Happy Anniversary. This is why a September anniversary is better than a December one. You got a little rain, but we seem to always get snow :(
Not bad if you like to ski, I guess. I don't.
