Her first pick

So we were outside one day in the middle of August. Mackenzie comes up to me and asks if she can have a flower. I said yes. It was the first time she has ever shown an interest in the flowers out front. I told her I would get some scissors to cut it with but she didn't want to wait for me. She tried to yank it of but only succeeded in bending the stem. I then came out with the scissors and cut it off for her. She was so proud of picking her first flower. After she was done carrying it around we put it in a vase so she could enjoy it a few days more.

So cute! I have to keep a close eye on Kaila when there are flowers around-she loves to pick flowers! I am lucky that includes dandylions. I let her pick all of those she wants. :)
